The Archer's Bow

Rennes, Brittany, France - November 15th, 2022

About this artwork

This photograph was captured in Rennes, Brittany, France on November 15th, 2022.

It represents what appears to me as a homeric bow such as the one used by Heracles (Hercules) to defeat the Stymphalian birds in his sixth labour for Eurystheus. This labour has been widely represented in art throughout the centuries by many artists such as Albrecht Dürer and Antoine Bourdelle.

It is part of my Cloud Atlas art prints collection.
