Rennes, Brittany, France - July 28th, 2021
This photograph was captured in Rennes, Brittany, France on July 28th, 2021.
It represents what appears to me as Huitzilopochtli, the god of the Sun and war in Aztec mythology. In wars he was like live fire, which is what I see when I watch this picture. His name was associated with hummingbirds, thought to be reincarnated fallen warriors.
It is part of my Cloud Atlas art collection.
This artwork is available for sale as a signed and numbered Limited Edition of 6 large archival pigment prints, a signed and numbered Special Edition of 3 large Diasec mounted Trulife acrylic prints, as well as a signed Open Edition of small fine art prints.
